Towards the end of my studies of biology and business management at Imperial College London I met Vamsi Vadde pitching a business idea for a fashion computer vision app that myself and fellow students wrote a business plan for on the entrepreneurship module.

Whilst we explored the idea, Vamsi asked if I'd like an internship running a cooking class experience website called trymykitchen.com and offered to teach me about running a business.

I keenly accepted and took to the helm; onboarding cooking schools, learning SEO, partnering with brands like Peroni, designing views for my first two sided marketplace, attempting my first migration from Drupal to WordPress woo-commerce, writing HTML, CSS, PHP. It was 9 months of great fun and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
