In 2022, I worked on designing and building an emissions calculator and sustainability reporting for XeroE, helping clients understand the emissions of different delivery methods.

The calculator's customer-facing interface was built in ReactJS and allowed the public to explore the impact of their existing delivery options versus sustainable alternatives.

The calculator's API was built in Python using a vehicle emissions dataset from Imperial College Consultants of the CO₂, NO_x and PM_2.5 emissions of both fossil fuel and non-fossil fuel vehicles.

The API served both the public calculator and the XeroE platform, providing XeroE platform clients and customers detailed emissions data on their deliveries.

This tool was instrumental in XeroE's sustainability mission, providing tangible metrics that clients could use to demonstrate their commitment to reducing emissions and meeting environmental goals.
